Derech Etz Chaim took their annual Superbowl Sunday trip to Eilat. Pictured above is Rav Mendel and his son Alter taking on Dovy Zwebner in a friendly game of shesh-besh (or backgammon for you English speakers) with Mordechai Birnbaum "waiting on deck" for winners.Aside from some beautiful hikes in and around Eilat the group watched the New York Giants upset the heavily favored New England Patriots. Naturally, at Derech Etz Chaim, we always root for the underdog -- and as usual we came out on top.
